I bought my first domain and webspace on June 25, 2004. It was my very first paid one and I was really happy with it, never having any problems at all. I was a satisfied customer. On July 21, 2008 I made the decision to change not only my host but also my domain name (only slightly, though). I was getting tired of managing everything by hand. So, I decided it was time to get a package which inlcuded databases and PHP.
So why that name? The reason is pretty simple. I've always wanted something with blue because of the double meaning with the color and as synonym of sad and I like rain, not always but occasionally. So that's why. Besides, I like the sound of those two words together. But apart from that there is no deeper meaning to it; I just wanted an unusual combination, something that doesn't quite fit together.
This is the 13th version of my domain. I have decided not to show the old layouts here because I don't see a valid reason why I should. Besides, I don't really think that many people would care anyway. I like to experiment with the styles of a layout. Trying new things and all. I also think that my skills develop and maybe it's better that you can't see any previous version.
What's to say about the current version? Beside the fact that it's layout number 13 I've made for my collective, it's basically something random that I kind of just 'threw' together. Nothing specific going on here besides me working with textures and brushes. I've used resources made by coffeforcloser, dearest and Fractured Sanity. The layout is optimized for Firefox | 1440x900. And that's all there is to say.
