At first sight the character of Cordelia seems to be nothing more than a spoilt rich girl and self-proclaimed bitch that only cares about looks and what others think. Once you look closer, though, you see she is so much more than that. When she learns the truth about vampires and demons, she rather quickly adjusts to the fact; she takes what life dishes out. She might not always been willing but she helps the Scoobies when needed.

After graduating from highschool she goest to LA to pursue an acting career. She doesn't have much luck and instead comes across Angel. He saves her from a vampire and she in turn employs herself as his secretary. Angel Investigations is born. Then their friend Doyle dies a heroic death and she inherits his visions. Although at first everything but happy about it, she soon realizes the importance of her new 'job' as seer. With a purpose and friends she grows into a mature woman deditated to the mission of saving lives. She even chooses to become part demon instead of being a star.

However, her life is everything but easy. Friends betray her, she's sucked into another dimension, she's bodyjacked by an evil entity and falls into a coma later... . That she's a true hero, shows that she's using her last moments to get Angel, her guy, back on his road to redemption. She dies without ever waking up from her coma.
